I have a passion for helping families overcome stressors related to undesirable dog behaviors. I've always loved dogs, but I first developed a passion for dog training after requesting training for my first dog, Fox. 

Fox was a beautiful Lab and Husky mix that I loved very much and although he knew many tricks, he also displayed many behaviors that caused problems for my family and I. 

He would bark constantly even after I told him stop. He would pull on the leash during walks and lunge and bark at other dogs which caused a great deal of embarrassment. 

To top it all off he had some fear-based aggression due to the fact that I didn't properly socialize him. This behavior started to have a real negative impact on our family life. My wife and I would constantly argue over what should be done and we didn't even feel comfortable leaving him at boarding for family vacations. 

Finally, we were at the point where we had no choice but to call in outside help. As much as I loved my dog, this dog trainer was our last hope before the shelter. I was absolutely amazed at how quickly the trainer was able to assess and correct many of the behaviors we were struggling with. I learned that I had not been communicating in an effective way that Fox could understand. 

After we completed the training program there was finally peace in our household. No more stress when walking our dog. No more constant barking. He no longer displayed any aggression to dogs or people. After seeing the impact in my own life, I decided that I wanted to help other people live harmonious lives with their dogs as well.
